Common questions
What IT hardware does Meridian ITAD accept?
We accept rack and tower servers (Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Supermicro), hard drives and SSDs, storage arrays and drive shelves, DDR through DDR5 memory, GPUs, switches, routers, and firewalls, and office desktops, laptops, and workstations.
Do you accept hardware older than the models you list?
Yes. Dell 13th-generation and HPE Gen9 servers, older servers, and DDR through DDR5 memory can be included for review. Our model lists are examples, not eligibility cutoffs.
Do I need model numbers for a quote?
No. Service tags, serial numbers, an inventory export, or photos of the labels all work. For office computers, photos and a rough count are enough.
Which hardware gets a data destruction certificate?
For in-house sanitization, each drive gets a certificate identifying its serial and outcome. We confirm documentation for on-site shredding before the job. Memory and other components are listed in the job summary.
Is there a minimum job size?
No. Send a single server or a mixed lot for review. We reply within 1 business day.
Tell us what you need to clear out
Send photos or a description, or request an inventory visit. We reply within 1 business day. No detailed list is required to start.
