Server refresh
The new servers are racked and the old generation needs to go. Send photos or a description of what's coming out and tell us your cutover date. We'll confirm the collection plan with you.

Meridian IT Asset Disposition works with IT teams retiring hardware after a refresh, a colo consolidation, or a cloud migration. Start with an inventory export, photos, a description, or a request for an inventory visit. We agree on data handling and collection before the job.
The hardware changes from job to job. We reply within 1 business day, and the same contact stays with you through completion.

You're pulling racks out of a cage or a room. We pick up from the site, count everything against the quote, and send one summary that covers the whole move.

The workloads moved and the old servers are just drawing power. We review what is left and agree on the collection and data handling.

Older servers, switches, memory, and storage can be included in your clearout. Send what you have for review; the listed generations are examples.
We reply within 1 business day and gather the details needed for your quote. One contact at Meridian ITAD handles the scheduling and emails you at each step.
For in-house sanitization, we wipe drives in Oakland to NIST SP 800-88 and send a certificate for each serial. On-site shredding availability and documentation are confirmed per job. The job summary lists every item, what happened to it, and its outcome, which gives you a record for your auditors.
| Drive serial | Model | Capacity | Result |

| SMPL0A1F | ST1200MM0099 | 1.2 TB SAS | Passed |
| SMPL0A2K | ST1200MM0099 | 1.2 TB SAS | Passed |
| SMPL0B7Q | AL15SEB120N | 1.2 TB SAS | Passed |

| SMPL0C9T | MZ7LH960HAJR | 960 GB SATA SSD | Failed, destroyed |

We accept storage arrays, switches, firewalls, memory, GPUs, workstations, and desktops and laptops along with servers, and they can all go on the same asset list. There's no minimum job size, so a single server gets a quote too.
Yes. Include older servers, loose components, GPUs, and workstations in the same request. We review the entire lot and confirm the scope with you.
Any format your inventory tool exports, including CSV, XLSX, and PDF. Send it as is; there's no template to fill in and nothing to retype.
Yes. The quote records the agreed hardware and work so your manager or finance team can review it.
Tell us your date and we will confirm the schedule. After acceptance, our team picks up in the Bay Area within 5 business days; elsewhere, freight is scheduled within that window.
You get a job summary that lists every item, what happened to it, and its outcome, plus a certificate for each drive serial number we wiped. Both are ready to hand to an auditor as they are.
