Dell PowerEdge server disposition

Your PowerEdge clearout may span several generations, with rack servers, tower systems, and spare components in the same room. Include the older units alongside the more recent equipment. The model examples below help describe the range; they are not a requirement that every system match a listed configuration.

Tell us whether the servers are still in a rack, already removed, or held at more than one site. Include loose drives, memory, rails, and other hardware in the description. We confirm what is included and how the collection will work before the job.

Service tags, model labels, and an existing inventory export help identify systems. If those are not available, photos of the front and rear of the equipment and a rough count are a useful start. Known CPU, memory, and drive details can follow as we discuss the lot.

Let us know about missing drive carriers, power supplies, or other components, as well as systems with known faults. You do not need to power up or dismantle each server solely to make an inquiry. Where the inventory is unclear, request a visit and we will confirm availability and scope.

Identify which servers still contain drives and whether you have a separate box of removed media. Keep any existing asset references with the equipment so we can discuss the records your team needs. Retain required files before releasing hardware.

In-house sanitization is performed in Oakland, with a certificate per drive serial. Requests for on-site HDD/SSD shredding are confirmed separately. Tell us about loading access and any building requirements when arranging pickup.
